Preface
We warmly welcome you to the eighth volume of our undergraduate foreign language research journal, The Kennesaw Tower!
This year’s publications span the fields of German and Hispanic literary and cultural studies, including economic, historical, political, and textual analyses. Particularly refreshing this season was the authors’ enthusiasm with which each one responded to the review and revision process. Each contributor should be truly proud of their work as well as the positive attitude and dedication they invested into it.
The Editorial Board, as always, feels honored to be entrusted with these undergraduate scholars’ work. Deep appreciation goes out to the faculty mentors for investing precious time and effort into guiding their students’ research and writing process. I would also like to thank our dedicated group of reviewers for their service to the journal. Their time and commitment is central to the existence and quality of this publication venue.
I wish you enjoyment and inspiration when reading the work of the undergraduate scholars published in this volume. Please do not hesitate to contact me about their work, about the journal, or about our effort to promote and make available to a worldwide readership undergraduate research accomplishments.
With warm academic and personal wishes,
Susanne Kelley, Editor-in-Chief
